Item-Writing Workshop
If you ever wanted to better understand the North Carolina Real Estate Broker License Examination and have input into its composition, then this is your chance.
In order to get the most of out of this workshop, participants are required to first complete a prerequisite course, the self-paced online Writing Effective Exams – Instructor Development Workshop (IDW). If you want to attend the in-person Workshop, you must complete this IDW at least two days prior to your scheduled in-person session. The Writing Effective Exams – IDW course fee is $25. Since you will be creating potential license examination questions for the in-person Workshop, you will be required to sign and adhere to a confidentiality agreement. No material created during the event will leave the workshop. You will leave with improved item writing skills to apply to your own tests. Some other important details regarding the Workshop include:
- Registration for the Workshop is FREE in exchange for your active participation.
- Registration is open only to Commission-approved Instructors and Education Directors.
- You may only register for a single 1-day session from 8:30am - 5:00pm (Each session will be capped at 20 participants).
- The self-paced online Writing Effective Exams – IDW must have been completed within 1 year prior to attending this Workshop.
- Rescheduling is not permitted.
- You will receive 6 hours of Instructor Development Credit for attending the full day Workshop.
- NO CE credit is offered.
