Hurricanes and Vacation Rentals

The Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 each year, though North Carolina is most at risk for hurricanes during the months of August, September, and October. It is important for tenants, managers, and owners to be aware of the laws governing hurricanes and evacuations related to vacation rentals. For more information on relevant laws and for additional resources read more in the Commission's Hurricanes and Vacation Rentals ebulletin article.
